<style type="text/css">p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; direction: ltr; line-height: 120%; text-align: left; }</style>
<br />
HoldingWilley has launched a cricket app, HW Cricket App, that is said to change the way people surf cricket scores in their phones, in a course of time. Aditya Pathak, Strategy Lead, HoldingWilley announced, while launching the app, it is based on four pillars – Fast, Innovative, Lite, and Shareable. The beauty of HW Cricket App, as he further added, lies in its unconventional design and concept. Although there are a number of cricket apps already there in the play store, this app is bound to make a difference.<br />
<br />
<br />
The creators of HW Cricket App said they believe in <a href="http://www.holdingwilley.com/">challenging </a>the conventional in everything they do and believe in thinking differently. That is the crux of matter behind creating the newly launched app. The company believes in challenging the conventional by making something in its pure and original form, something that is innovative and built with features what users would seek. They claim to create a great cricket app and have challenged everyone to try it and experience it.<br />
<br />
<br />
Cricket fans always give high preference to live scores as compared to anything else while surfing a cricket app. The whole concept lies in getting the scores easily and as fast as possible. Users are also quite perceptive to data usage as and when surfing apps are in use on their mobile phone. Data usage is definitely a major concern at all times while surfing apps, is what the app creators felt about mobile and data users.<br />
<br />
<br />
This issue has been resolved as HW Cricket is an 'only scores cricket app'. The app has been kept as a clean, easy to access and innovatively simple in its design, concept and usage. That is why there are not so many sections, so many tabs or buttons, so many links, not too useful commentary and on top of it a cumbersome and distasteful design.<br />
<br />
<br />
Fast, Lite, Simple, Innovative and easily Shareable HW Cricket Version 1.0.1 has been ideated by Aditya Phatak while the coding has been done by Javed Khatri. The top features of HW Cricket App include:<br />

The finals between Sri Lanka and India of T20 World Cup played at Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, never seemed to be a serious attempt from Indian side. Yuvraj should not have experimented in finals looking at his consistently failing innings and more so the confidence with which he is playing these days. Even if he was taken the next blunder that Dhoni did was to send Yuvraj at second down after Rohit Sharma departed in the 11th over. From 11th to 19th over, as long as Yuvraj was there at crease with Virat Kohli, it was the most devastating spell of runs scored by Indian batsmen.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.espncricinfo.com/inline/content/image/729791.html" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://www.espncricinfo.com/inline/content/image/729791.html" /></a></div>
<br />
Yuvraj was clearly failing to play against Sri Lankan bowlers. out of 21 balls almost 10 balls were wasted by him by either trying to hook the ball and failing or defending himself as if a test match was being played. Instead he should have performed a solider's attempt to go for a suicidal shot as early as possible to get out of the fear he was having on the field.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.espncricinfo.com/inline/content/image/729789.html" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://www.espncricinfo.com/inline/content/image/729789.html" /></a></div>
<br />
The onus in any case goes to Dhoni for showing over confidence on Yuvraj and sending him on 2 down. Instead he should have sent Raina, Ashwin and Jadeja before Yuvraj and himself. Probably the score would have been a little respectable and at a level to provide a little bit of confidence to the Indian bowlers.</div>

It was a day night match on a batting friendly newly built Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Australia team is in India for a 6 ODIs series. The second match is Jaipur. Rest four matches will be played at Mohali, Ranchi, Cuttack and Nagpur respectively.<br />
<br />
It was a nice decision taken by Australian Captain George Bailey to opt for batting after winning the toss. And he played a captain's knock by making brilliant 85 runs in 82 balls. Indian bowling was totally ineffective against Australian batsmen throughout. Only two bowlers who were able to control run rate were Jadeja and Ashwin and to some extent non regular Yuvraj and the young pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.<br />
<br />
Overall Australia was in total command in all three areas - batting, bowling and fielding. Australia put a solid challenge of 305 runs for India to win that seemed to be an uphill task once the opener Shikhar Dhwan and middle order batsmen Yuvraj Singh, Dhoni and Jedeja could not prove themselves. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
202 runs by Mumbai Indians when invited by Rajasthan Royals in the Finals of IPL 2013 being played at Delhi's Feroze Shah Kotla Ground. It is a fantastic performance by all seven players who got a chance to bat. On this batting friendly wicket though Rajasthan Toyals have fair chances of performing well and winning the finals but chances are bleak to break this jinx of 10.10 runs per over.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sachin Tendulkar was first to go at 15 made off 13 balls with 3 fours. He was bowled by Shane Watson on he third ball of fifth over. Dwayne Smith made 44 off 39 balls with 5 fours and 1 six. He was next to go on the fourth ball of 12th over bowled by Tambe. Score was not in a very good condition when Rayudu departed in 14th over on 29 with MI score on 109 for 3.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But then it was bombardment from captain Rohit Sharma (14 balls 33 runs, 3 fours and 2 sixes), Keiron Pollard 10 balls 15 runs, 1 four and 1 six, Glenn Maxwell 14 balls, 37 runs, 4 fours and 2 sixes. Karthik made excellent 15 runs on 5 balls with 2 sixes and Harbhajan was handy with a six in 2 balls he got to play.</div>

Last IPL match of Sachin Tendulkar being played at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla ground and is the finals of IPL between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. RR won the toss and decided to field first. Sachin Tendulkar opened the bat with Dwayne Smith and got out on 15 made in 13 balls with 3 fours on 3rd ball of 5th over of the game being bowled by Shane Watson.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.espncricinfo.com/inline/content/image/501523.html?alt=1" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" src="http://www.espncricinfo.com/inline/content/image/501523.html?alt=1" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last match that Zaheer played was in Kolkata - Test Match against England.in which he had bowled only 31 overs and taken a solo wicket. Zaheer has a chronic issue of fitness and that is why he has never been consistent in the team for a long time. Even for the matches he has played, fitness on the field has mostly been the issue and hence he has not been able to throw long spells. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
After not getting selected for National Cricket Team Zaheer went abroad to France for a fitness trip along with Yuvraj Singh. Both have been back recently and in a press conference both have announced about each other's fitness and readiness to join Indian Team. In fact Zaheer has been reported to lose 6 kgs of his weight during this fitness session in France.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
More important is again how he performs on field rather than his fitness claims. His consistent performance is also very important in forthcoming 4-5 domestic matches (if he gets a chance) and then he can claim for his place in national team for SA tour. Also critical is that during his absence so many more talented bowlers have got a chance to demonstrate their skills and hence are strong contenders for their place in the team.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<a href="http://search.espncricinfo.com/db/PICTURES/CMS/147800/147825.icon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: justify;"><img border="0" src="http://search.espncricinfo.com/db/PICTURES/CMS/147800/147825.icon.jpg" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Bowlers like Siddharth Kaul from Punjab, Ishwar Chand Pandey from Pune, Stuart Binny from Karnataka, Jaydev Unadkat from Saurashtra, Umesh Yadav from Maharashtra, Ashok Dinda from Kolkata, Mohammed Shami from Kolkata and many more in the making are giving strong competition to Zaheer. Big question is whether to give a place to Zaheer for a couple of years more or give a chance to more talented newcomers to groom them for the forthcoming International challenges.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Looking at the new crop of batsmen it seems very difficult for Yuvraj to find his place back in Indian Team in any format be it Twenty-20, ODI or Test Match. Moreover Yuvraj has never been a very consistent player. He has definitely blasted many a times and has turned a doomed Indian innings into a match winning. At times he has also shown his bowling skills in all formats of the game. But being out of cricket for more than 6 months now due to fitness issues has given a golden chance to many new highly skilled aspirant entrants who have made a strong impression to get a place in Indian Team.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cheteshwar Pujara, Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja and so on - the list is long for the newer generation batsmen who are strong contenders to grab a place in Indian Cricket Team.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In any case even if Yuvraj contends for his place in the Indian Cricket Team - as he has done in a public press meet recently after returning back from his fitness tour from France; he will have to show his consistent calibre in 4-5 domestic matches first in order to convince selectors and to avoid and controversy of getting unwanted favor.</div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; font-size: 9px; line-height: 24px;">How many among us are aware about International Cricket Council’s (ICC)
controlled ICC Pitch and Outfield Monitoring Committee? Well, this committee
has set some minimum standards for any pitch across the globe that claims to
conduct an international match. All cricket playing countries have to adhere to
these standards for all their international pitches. This committee was formed
in 2006. As the name suggests the standards not only point towards the pitch
only but outfield also.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.0pt; margin-top: 7.5pt;">
<span style="background: white; font-size: 6.5pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">The test match that was played between visiting Australian team and
hosts Sri Lanka in Galle from August 31, 2011 to September 4, 2011; came under
the scrutiny of this committee as the pitch did not behave normal during the
match. The pitch has been declared by this committee having poor quality that
needs to take appropriate measures to make it as per standards set by the
committee. The next step of the process is that an senior pitch expert of the
committee’s panel team (Andy Atkinson, in this case), will visit the pitch
under question within a stipulated period after declaring it unfit, and will
inspect the pitch thoroughly. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.0pt; margin-top: 7.5pt;">
<span style="background: white; font-size: 6.5pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">An inspection report with shortfalls and corrective measures will be
submitted after the completion of inspection process. The country (SL, here) in
turn has to ensure that prior to scheduling any international match on that
pitch (<st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Galle</st1:place></st1:city>,
here), a report has to be submitted to ICC committee that confirms about all
corrective actions completed satisfactorily. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.0pt; margin-top: 7.5pt;">
<span style="background: white; font-size: 6.5pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">The whole story began when a concern was raised by Chris Broad, a
member of Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees about the poor quality of <st1:city w:st="on">Galle</st1:city> in which <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Sri Lanka</st1:place></st1:country-region> had lost the match by 125
runs. Broad’s concern was based on the unnatural turn and bounce experience
during the match. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

soft catch to mid on player and got out on just 2 runs. It was Captain
Harbhajan Singh who joined but could not stay for long when he got lbw out on
the 3rd ball of the same over. MI was reduced to 109 for 7 with 4.3

over with score on the board as 73. With Tilakratane Dilshan, Chris Gayle Virat
Kohli and Mayank Agarwal getting out, RCB went into defensive mode and probably
that brought in more risk and danger to their balance batsmen. The next 3
batsmen were back within 19 runs reducing the score to 92 for 7 in 17th
over, thereby making it a tough task when only Saurabh Tiwary as a batsman was
left in the side. The low score of MI turned into a blessing for them as the

Harbhajan Singh who played a captain’s knock by dismissing two most dangerous
men on the RCB side – Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli and later scalped the wicket
of RCB Captain Daniel Vettori also. Yuzvendra Chahal also did a marvellous piece
of bowling of 3 overs 9 runs and 2 wickets. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

scorer was Dilshan with 27 runs. In his last over and innings’ penultimate
over, Malinga took the 9th wicket of RCB. Last over required 32 runs
to win with only 1 wicket in hand. Abu Nechim took the last wicket of RCB in

the Mumbai Indian Coach Robin Singh for enabling the underdogs to reach finals

With excellent performance from batting and bowling section, India has given a clear cut signal to English ODI team to be ready for a crash. Probably omission of Sehwag, Gambhir, Tendulkar et. al. became a blessing for India when newcomer Ajinkya Rahane and Parthiv Patel opened Indian innings after India lost the toss and were invited to bat first.<br />
<br />
Ajinkya word means one who can never be defeated. Rahane does not seem to be playing his preliminary buch of matches. The vigor, zeal, maturity and depth shows a long journey for him in Indian team. Probably he appears to be a right choice of openers for Indian next world cup team. Parthiv Patel on the other hand has shown lot of guts and sustenance through his previous series to this match.<br />
<br />
Dravid was unfortunate to get out at 2 with a snick that missed umpire but technical review declared him out. Rohit Sharma was out for duck. All other batsmen - Kohli, Dhoni, Raina played and contributed 55, 33, 38 respectively. Patel was unlucky to get out just 5 runs short of his well deserved century.<br />
<br />
Rahane made confident 40 which qualify him to stay for the series and play.<br />
<br />
England innings was in doledrums when they started to bat after bowling out India for 274 at the loss of 7 wickets. Both the openers Cook and kieswetter were unable to touch double figure score and were sent back cheaply by superb bowling of Pravin Kumar.<br />
<br />
Rain saved England in this match as it ended in a draw after heavy downpour. England were 27 for 2 in 8th over when game stopped and later called off.<br />
