Where there is a will, there is a way. It has been proved yet again, as per a recent news published online. The will is to etablish CollegeDunia in a grand manner and the way has come by means of angel funding of over $160,000, or Rs. 1 crore (almost). This portal was launched in May 2014 by its founder Sahil Chalana and soon it caught eyes of many investors. This particular funding of over 1 crore has come from Gaadi.com, an automobile portal, and some unnamed investors.
The unique portal CollegeDunia aims to provide end to end information about any college of India. It is in fact a search engine for colleges of India where currently it lists over 800 colleges and 1500 courses all across India. It plans to cover all colleges and courses along with all information and relation between the two. For instance a college listing details about its history, courses, fee, location, admission criteria, facilities etc.
